I do love that your artist comments are on the pic itself and not the typy-kinda way. I'd do that too if my handwriting was legible.
Karma mentioned a more emphasized cartoon-style look. To me, it's reminiscent of old American comic books for some reason. o.o That's not a bad thing though I actually think it gives it a nice look, because her hair speaks to me of those old private eye comic things, and for some reason...I think it ties together nicely. The thick line style, the way it's half-colored and half-ink, all of it produces a rather unique look that if you hadn't notice I'm trying to explain but with a considerable amount of difficulty.
Marker-wise, streaking is inescapable, but you've done a good job of making them all go in the same direction. I uh...I was always good at coloring inside the lines as a child, but I could never get the hang of coloring in the same direction, which is one of the reasons I like to apply thick, rich color with colored pencils - it makes it so you can't tell that I color in a trillion different directions. @_@ But I honestly didn't even focus on something like that when the pseudo-colored-ness actually tied the whole piece together, for me. It stuck out more for its vibrance so I didn't hone in on 'oh she did it in markers so it's messy' at all.
Beyond that, I pretty much gave you my tremendous inscalable textwall already, so I'll end it at that.
